Our students have a fortnightly visit from a Physical Education, Health and Nutrition teacher.
Mungallala State School shares an annual athletics carnival with Mitchell State School, Dunkeld State School and St Patrick's Catholic School. Our students are also invited to join Mitchell State School for their annual swimming and cross country carnivals.
Rugby League, Netball, Little Athletics and Dance opportunities are available in Mitchell, out of school hours.
Religious Instruction (RI)
Religious Instruction (RI) is offered to students from Year 1 to Year 6 each fortnight. The RI sessions run for 45 minutes. The Religious Instruction program in non-denominational and incorporates broad Christian ideals and content. The Mungallala SS students find the RI lessons very enjoyable, however, participation in Religious Instruction is not compulsory.
